Here's how it works. There is currently a differential between the number of posts recorded on the front page, and the post index number of 20897. When you add 1,0000000 to that you find out the post index number of the millionth post as recorded by the site counter is http://forums.epicski.com/showpost.php?p=1020897
And the person who made it is none other than RiDeC58 in a post concerning ESA.

Thanks for everything.
Congrates to RiDeC58 for the definitely Epic post! Unfortunately, This is in a forum accessible only to the EpicSki Academy students. (if you have attended ESA and are not enrolled, send me a PM)
To get the post differential you have to look at the number of site posts and newest post at the same time. It was hard to be certain during a period of high activity. So this morning I also found post #1002097 could have been the millionth post. That was confirmed again tonight.
