Which mountain/what runs do you usually ski?
Me in the green.
I have only been to Whistler/Blackcomb once before for a weekend trip. We skied Whistler one day then Blackcomb the next.
We skied all over the mountain. All levels of terraign. I think on blackcomb you can hike up and ski the backside that ends up being a 5+ mile run (also accessed by Spankys ladder). We did that and skied those bowls back there. There was about 8-10 inches of powder back there and it was a blast.
So i guess to answer your question would be to say that i am not the greatest skier in the world but i can definately hold my own and am improving every time i take the hill.
My home mountain is Stevens Pass Washington where i cycle double diamond and 7th heaven till my legs are shot. The snow at 7th Heaven is usually 6 inches deeper then the rest of the mountain. It is just unreal at times.
