Really, I will.
Sure you will. If I was in Colorado I wouldn't be thinking of me!

You're an east coaster now. Get used to the marginal conditions

well i can drive to my borrowed house for 45min and ski in the rain or drive 4 hours and ski in the rain.

there is one that is much more likely to happen.

You can drive 45 min to ski alone in the rain or you can drive 4 hrs to ski with some great bears in the rain........
I know which one I'd rather do

Have Fun Josh, no matter what the precip is like!

Race, yes.

Rain, no.

Icy... Yes.

You'll only need the GSR for three runs. 1 slip, 2 race. Progressor the rest of the day.

I'll do my best to make it although I'm fighting knee issues..........
I had a great time last year, so I'd certainly like to meet up with you guys again.

Probably can't make it on Friday, I've got a quiz at 11am and I'm supposed to be in class until 2pm...

Maybe I can take the quiz Thursday.

Time?

I've only got one class Friday, and I'm 95% the proffesor will let me take the quiz Thursday. 2.5 or so drive from Rochester...

This will be my first day out on snow this season-

Lifts run at 9:30 usually. We all get there a little early though.

I skied Holimont today and it was beautiful (sunny, cold, firm snow).

Just a final note on this.

Again, I appologize for any inconvenience with the planning this year. I wasn't expecting the cutbacks from my Supplier. I just got back from their office where I had to verify my employees and confirm my reservations. (hassel) There will be no free lunch but a snack/happy hour around 3:30pm will be provided. I'd say to those who are attending, bring some pass around food and some beer or whatever you wish. I'll have some also.

The flip side, it's snowing like crap right now with up to a foot of new snow expected by tomorrow. So, the skiing will be awesome to say the least. I skied there yesterday and the conditions were superb. Of course, a foot of new can't hurt right? It should be a good group. Pierre, Heluva, Bushwacker, maybe some other Bears, plus my guys who all are good skiers. We'll meet up in the fireplace room nearest the lifts, grab some tables and ski. No pressure to push it, just fun.

Hope to see you there.

Rumour has it that you're getting up to 18 inches! That's gotta make you grin!

Well, i'd like to think so, but weather forecasts are kind of like men. They constantly think 6" is 8", so when they say 18" it's probably more like 12"

They just want to scare people into staying home and getting us skier breathing hard

Lars,

I was really hoping to make it again this year and skiing the full day, but it looks like due to the dumping and weather that work scheduled for Weds over there is being rescheduled for tomorrow.
If plans change I have your cell phone number still from last year and I'll let you know.

The snow should be really great between the weather and their fantastic grooming that they do up there.

Enjoy, maybe next year or make some turns together later this year at Holiday Valley.

I'm out (again)

My professor gave me a for asking, but wouldn't let me take the quiz early/late...

ok, 12 plus inches of new snow yesterday and 4 plus inches predicted for tomorrow.

How much better can it get?

It should be Epic Skiing.
