What's the difference between a Doberman Pro vs the WC? Yeah, the flex is 130 vs 150, but other than that are they the same? Especially the last? Or is the WC a plug boot?
The reason I ask is that I've got a pair of the Pros and think they're perfect for me. There's a pair of WCs new in box (but a few seasons old) on ebay for $100 in my size and I'm thinking about picking them up as insurance or as eventual replacement. I've been through two seasons on the Pros, and nothing lasts forever...
I don't think I need a 150 flex, but I like a precise feeling and boots can be softened.
About me: 175lbs, mediocre skier from the midwest who doesn't race, ski mostly groomed (although that's changing). Very narrow ( AAA) feet. Happily ski all day on Doberman Pros without ever feeling the need to loosen the buckles or take them off.
I'm currently without a bootfitter since he left the business to pursue a more lucrative career, but the Doberman Pros were purchased on his recommendation. Other than a thermofit, moving the orthotics from my old boots and adding an ankle butterfly I didn't need any further customization.
