Brian, I have to disappoint you. There is nothing uncanny about your ability. You share that with the majority of skiers out there!
...But you wouldn't have to if you went to the EpicSki Academy in Utah.
That's right, rise above the Intermediate plateau. Climb to new heights of skiing, and then drop into beautiful virgin bowls of powder.
Yes, you too can ski like Nolo for only $1000!

Did I say $1000? I meant $400.

In fact, book now for all four days of the academy, and we'll do a deal for $375.

How many times in your life have you wanted to ski better than you do?
Picking yourself up while all your friends are laughing and waiting for you at the bottom of the run.
Unsure if you can make it down that slope.
Unable to impress the girls on the lift with your technique.
Do you ever dream you could ski better than this?
Well you CAN.
For only $375. That's right $375US. That's under £250GB! And you know how little £250 is. That would buy you a pint in St Anton, yet we are offering, just for this season, a full 4 day ski academy featuring some of the best instructors in the world for the LOW LOW price of $375.
Book now, and you may win the opportunity to buy a drink for the legendary Fox.

So, what are you waiting for?

Thank you, my friends.

I hope to ski with five people at the Academy. If those five don't show, I will happily convert into a student, write a check, and enroll in one of my cohort's clinics.

What if this opportunity only comes once?

more snow links:

This one has some interesting low temp. scanning electron microscope photos:

P-man, you'd really like this one, with "designer snowflakes" on it, and lots of links:

still, haven't seen something with different words for different types of snow. Most of it is classification of crystals.

Good skiing sassy girl, you is flowing.
If that snow is difficult I can see we have similar talents. You have the ability to make difficult snow look easy, whereas I have this uncanny ability to make the easiest snow look extremely difficult.

Beautiful! Wish I could ski that kind of stuff half as
good. Drop your left hand if you want to. My guess is
that not one in a hundred on this list could do as well,
much less any better.

Boy am I late getting to this thread!

For those of you into music downloads, the song in the video is "Windmills" by Toad the Wet Sprocket off the Dulcinea CD as nolo mentioned.

Nolo - love what I see. Will you marry me?

...Hey nolo,
Better late than never eh! Just got my new home athlon machine up & running...as opposed to my old P100 :
Getting those afternoon rays of sunshine is always beautiful. Nice skiing....nice footwork.

Great skiing!

I'm with Ott ....why change?

New to the site, so I really appreciate your posting the video so I can get a visual perspective of the techniques being discussed here.

Someday, folks, we will do an EpicSki heli adventure. You gotta do this before, well, you know.

I just wish I didn't have a trip booked in January this year. I'm very worried about the snowpack.

Thanks for the nice words on the video. It's a great memento of a great trip.
