I have heard that the manmade base is 3-4 feet at this point (they have been making snow off and on for 4 weeks or so, but only on selected trails).
I don't know how much of the natural snow has stayed on the trails (much of it might be windblown), but I honestly think they could open the whole mountain if they were able to groom in the recent natural dumpage. Might be rock skis only, but that's OK with me. Unfortunately, I have a feeling they don't have the manpower to support that much open terrain this early in the season.
