my shorts are never too tight, but this sure waffles along the lines of incendiary exploitation:
"Snowboarding should be outlawed, period. Besides the fact that a person becomes a brainless ape when they strap on one of those idiotic contraptions, 90% of all on-hill injuries involve a snowboarder. Their enormous blind spot coupled with their inconsiderate attitudes is a recipe for a bad skiing experience.
Every year I go throw a few dozen pairs of ski poles due to constantly inserting them up snowboarder's @sses. Cause that's what they like."

1. an anti-snowboarding thread is childish, at best, regardless if it's meant to be humorous or silly. Nevermind the simple fact that this discussion has been dragged through the mud and been beaten to death a gazillion times already.
2. talking about shoving poles up the rectal cavities of snowboarders, regardless of humorous intent, is pretty incendiary
3. if the purpose of the thread was to get people to come to the defense of snowboarders or to show how stupid the whole anti-snowboarding school of thought is, it certainly wasn't delivered with any sense of irony (or silliness or humor).
4. the implied homophobia of the last sentence in that graph is beyond reproachable. It's downright offensive. there is nothing remotely humorous about that.
As for the 'dry' vibe around here, I would have to say that the above responses from Ullr and BillyMc are pretty self-evident to why it's such (i.e. I guess the inclusion of no less than 4 emoticons in my initial post wasn't enough to denote my sarcasm).
Sounds like a re-evaluation of whose pant(ies) are too tight is in order.
