This is a shot of a trail I built in my back yard. Yep its snowing! Its a blast riding in the snow. If you have never done it it is a must!

Another shot on 'War Ridge'. This isn't far from my house. The Ol' Timers say this was the site of a huge Indian battle.

Pic's don't work.

I ride in the snow a lot. Up to 6", I'm good. More than that I have to wait until the snowmobiles come through and pack it down.

One of my bud's was in the lead at the Idabike the year they got 36". They ended up canceling the race and everyone called it the Idahike.

Sorry, AOL switched their picture service. They were up last night.

I'll try and re-post tonight.

Even though it's in the sixties during the day, I put the hoses away this weekend. This, without thinking about the mud and snow riding season now. Nothing like making fresh tracks in snow, then mud, then dried leaves, gravel and dirt to camo the bike and make for an after ride cleaning marathon.....for bike, clothes and rider.

Second try....

Hope it sticks this time. By the way, we have 11+ inches in our yard today. A place called Quinwood, WV received 21 inches.

Tonight, I did hike for turns near where the second picture was taken. It was lame but, worth it. My first turns of this season.

Hope this season turns out to be as good as its starting out to be. The record low is 12F, it might get broken tonight. Four dogs inside tonight! I guess that makes it a 4 dog night!

Alpinord...I did ski with my bike helmet! With a light, that is... I can't get my bike lights on my ski helmet.

You've got me jealous. Good on ya. Judging by the photos (or lack there of) it looks like a total white out.

Helmet light attachment ideas:
1) use your base welding iron and material
2) duct tap and bailing wire
3) boat straps
4) epoxy
5) drill holes and bolt it on.
6).......

Yes, I'm a non-pic posting Jong! I'll give it try 3 tonight.

That is if I'm not hiking or biking...

I think I'll try Picasa.
