Actually, Ligety was 2nd after the first run, 0.25 seconds out. The second run had a difficult set, and he (and eight others), had trouble with a tight hairpin combination. That aside, the US slalom skiers (including Cochran) is skiing very fast.
You must've been looking the other direction... I also hope that Rocca makes it back to the top. I wonder how long Grange can stay there? It appears that he (Grange) has got something special going on.
Me too, but I'm kind of used to promising Italian skiers to fail to confirm. Probably as soon as someone win or come in on the podium
we think it's another Tomba (or Compagnoni or Kostner)...and they too, only to fall back "hard" on earth immeditely after.
