Old Jr skis. Trash?

Picked up a pair of Rossignol Comp J at a garage sale. Age unknown. Bought it because it is the right length (130cm) for my son and the condition is great.

My concern is that while it does have a waist, the shovels are not as wide as recent parabolic skis. Measurements and turning radius are not stated but I measured it at 84-60-74. Would that be considered straight ski measurements? I am hoping these will replaced the Atomic SX7 120cm (season rental) he has outgrown, but I am not sure if these will hold back his progress and enjoyment.

Will these do? Should I shop for newer skis? Thanks in advance.

Other markings include "Racing", "Fiberglass", "Rossitop Protection"(!). Bindings are Salomon 300 Synchro Center.

With a tip of only 84, that sounds pretty straight. The 300 Syncro is a jr rental binding. I think it is still indemnified, but have to check the list.

I do like the flexibility of a rental binding, perhaps I could shop for newer skis and reuse these bindings. Son is thinking twin tips park skis.
