I'll let you and Rio decide that. I plan on being there 30-45 minutes before lift opening to gear up and buy a ticket etc...

There's only one main base lodge correct?

We haven't arranged a time yet, but I was planning on starting when the mountain opened. How does 8:55 at the quad sound? If that doesn't work, we could meet at the bottom of a lift some time that morning.

There are two base lodges now. I will be inside at my locker in the lodge on the left (which is where they sell tickets) around 8:30. I'll give you directions on how to find my locker when we talk Saturday night or Sunday morning.

OK, VA, I will stop (every once in a while) .

The lifts open at 9 AM - hope to see you all there. (Don't forget to eat your wheeties, though.)

Ursula
Is the Huntley a good place to eat Wheaties as well as meet up at say 8:45? I've never been there, so I'll take any direction given

Well done Pete and best wishes to your neighbor.

Life intervenes sometimes and you have to do the right thing.

Hope your neighbor has a full recovery and you make it to The Gathering.

We'll try to be at our locker in the Saddle Peak Lodge at 8:30 too. We're over in the Js.

Sorry, Pete. I'll see you sooner or later!

Well, Huntley has a great breakfast buffet. But it is on the pricey side if you don't stay in the actual lodge.
In the Huntley hotel is the Fire Hole Lounge. Sylvia is running it. She has great coffee AND breakfast muffins, chicken rolls or croisants with ham and cheese. That is an option.
There is always the Mountain Mall. There is a coffee place and upstairs the cafeteria. The breakfast is (I guess) edible.
If you want a typical Montana breakfast, have it at Four Corners at the Kountry Korner Cafe on your way up to the mountain. (South East corner of intersection) They have the REAL stuff (greasy spoon stuff!) REALLY GOOD (Well, maybe not for your liver)

I will be slope side at 9 AM. Just give me a call.

Ursula

Sorry Pete, we'll make a couple of turns for you. Hope your neighbor will be fine.

Sorry to hear Pete is out, especially due to such circumstances.

Currently, (after reading about folks planning on skiing Schlassman's ) I'm thinking I'd like to ski Bridger on Sunday, and Big Sky on Monday.

JG, when will you be getting into Bozeman Saturday?

Sat afternoon around 3:00. I'm at the Ramada limited on wheat drive.

I'm over in the Cs, a couple rows in from the side door. jgiddyup, after you by your ticket take the outside stairs on the right of the building up one level and come in through the side door. If you don't see me hanging around C28 (5' 11", salt & pepper beard, khaki ski pants, generous nose) you can try to find Nolo in the Js.

I'll call you when I arrive Sat afternoon Rio. Driving conditions look good, so I might be able to enjoy it.

And I could spot Nolo and Phil anywhere with SPF50 on(ESA moment)

Rio, Nolo

I'm in town and spoke with Rio.  I'll be there on time and I tried to PM you both, but it wouldn't let me do multiple addresses or I'm to dumb to figure it out.
