Lange Ski boot URL?

Has anyone had any luck accessing www.langeskiboots.com? Is this the right site for Lange boot info, or do they have a new one? I would think they would have a site up by now to review their boot products...?

I have not had any issues, just that their web site is difficult to navigate and not enough info.

http://prostaff.dynastar.com is an "industry" site with info for the US

I always go to www.langeusa.com, but it ties in with the same website anyway. You're right, though. There's a technical problem at the moment that's preventing access. My browser gave me Page Load Error message at both URLs that the URL was trying to redirect the browser in a way that could not be completed. I expect they'll catch onto it shortly and the web guys will have it fixed within a day.

If you can not get onto langeskiboots.com, go to http://prostaff.dynastar.com. It is a US based site that will have all product info/specs for model sold in the US.

You might be right. Maybe it's picking up the fact I'm in Canada and is trying to redirect to a different site, but they've botched something in the process. I still can't access the site.

That is exactly what is happening. The site "looks" at lp locations to determine what site you "should" see. They have been informed of the bug and will fix it.

The Super Coup uses a full lace race liner - thin and firm. The liner also has an elastic toe box, and removable rear spoiler. There is no difference in the liner on the WC and HP fits other than the last of the HP liner is a little wider.

aregee has it pretty much correct...be aware that the new comp series boots DO NOT flex like the old world cup or new banshee shells

the new comp boot are designed to be way more laterally stiff than the free(er) flexing old boots
in my own world i have been wearing the WC130 HP fit with 299mm (size 6) since it came out...in the new World Cup 160 i have gone to the ZA/ZA flex in a size 23 (28x mm boot sole) that is the same shell as the Super Comp in a 92mm forefoot
my feet may actually be getting smaller with age as over the summer i have had to change my cycling shoe down a size as well...
interestingly enough i will be skiing the Banshee (not the pro) as my non hard pack boot and in a size 5
i may be swapping liners with the lace up being used in both boots but i haven't got that far into planning yet....

soundrulz, iirc you are in Onterrible (my condolences) if you PM me i can find who may have the boots (you may have to go to Collingwood or Oakville) and it may be unlikely that a store carries both models.....

one thing of note is with the new Comp shells guys are saying the lower deforms more when flexed than their old Lange, that could be true but remember the boot has a new placement fo the ankle hinge (higher and further back) so the upper and lower shells tend to lock together (it used to be called monoblock or something, i'll wait for someone smarter than me to come up with a name)
if you are noticing that be aware that this boot is not steared with a lot of fore and aft movement it is designed to go with modern GS and SL technique....

"World Cup 160 i have gone to the ZA/ZA flex in a size 23 (28x mm boot sole)"

that should have read size 24....
