wanted - apartment in Summit County Feb 10 to Mar 15th

Hi,

I am flying over the pound to experience my dream - skiing in Colorado for 5 weeks. There is only one problem; I have not found a place to live yet.

We will be two people, non smokers, no pets, responsible with reliable income, that will stay in the apartment. We will be visiting your beautiful county to go skiing, so preferable something close to a resort, or close to the shuttle buses.

MEfree30: Thank you

I forgot to mention that I have posted an ad on Craigslist, contacted several owners on VBRO and contacted everyone I know over there. I have got a couple of offers back, but most of these were just too expensive. I want to ski for 5 weeks, but I need to afford to live and eat as well for these 5 weeks.

Well... If the housing is too expensive, I just have to go back to eating noodles for 5 weeks instead... Because I really want to go skiing...

Relative to the rest of the US, everything is expensive here in Summit county, although you might find some things on par with Norway as it is not exactly cheap there either.

If you plan on skiing a lot, you will probably want to buy the Epic pass online which will give you unlimited skiing at Vail Resorts (Vail, BC, Keystone, Breck & A-basin). I think the current price is $579 and I they may stop selling this soon (or up the price).

There are a few other threads around on budget accomodations in Summit, so you could try searching the site for some other advice.
