Mediocre. Not bad, gets 140-150lbers out on the snow for ~10 days tootling of green-blues year.

The narrow tip design is way outdated. The Sceneos you already have will outperform this both for turning at will and for grip on anything icey.

Very good...Good advice.
I will probably go with the 2007 Head C-215 with Tyrollia Bindings from Level Nine for $160.00

Going with These I think

Fair choice and a good deal; your skis will only be three times better than your old chickie boots.

Blanket saddle on a Gold Cup jumper, imho, but fun is where you find it.

I will upgrade my boots next year, however they are a decent set of Rossies. They are comfortable so that is all I can ask huh? These skis will be new with warranty and all mine...They should do all of the Blue/Black Groomers I will find myself on.

Ah. My fault: thought you had Nordica F5.2s. Apologies for the mistake.

I was planning on them but went with Rossie Rocs . They are not a great set be seem to have plenty of support and fit extremely well. I will take the time to get new this next summer. So you do think the Heads will work pretty well for what I want? Groomers mainly, occasional Bowl?

Sounds reasonable; unless you start looking for speed I doubt you'll be able to explore everything they offer in just one season.

That was my thought...I mean I Ski 2 to 3 times a year for a total of 7-10 days...They should do the trick.

Final question...Is the trade worth it.

Should I send back my Fischer XTR Sceneos for the Head C-XP Ralliflex.

The Heads will be about 160 total Brand new
I have 80 in the Fischers which are Demo skiis so show some wear. I am truly needing advice.

Seriously, I would just go out and ski what you have.

Buy lessons with the difference: you don't have the budget to buy significantly better skis or boots.

Yeah, the Fischers should be fine until you advance.
I've owned several Fischers and they are well made ski.
Listen to Comprex, instead of spending the money to ship them back, put it toward lessons or put it away and save up for a serious upgrade.
Good luck and enjoy!

I have had many lessons in the past. I mean, I ski Blues, Blacks and bowls with no problem... What I dont want to happen is to go out and be completely disatisfied because the skis are older. I mean, they are a demo set that look pretty rough on the tops. The bases and edges are in good shape however, so it is purely a cosmetic issue. I guess my question is the C-XP any step up at all? I mean it is not like $80 more dollars for brand new skiis is going to break the bank. So I will pose the question like this. If both skiis were sitting there and you had to choose one to go out and hit the blue, black groomers which one would be your first instinct to grab?
