Be sure to compare price structure between package carriers. You will need to know the dimensions of the box/tube you are shipping in. There can be very large differences depending on size categories, limits, and distance shipped for each company.
That said, I find the USPS to be the cheapest more often than the others.
FedEx Ground & USPS are consistantly the cheapest. ( I've found consumer shipping for UPS to be much higher so I don't even bother but if where you work allows you to use the mail room it might be the cheapest.) FedEx has the advantage that you can go to a Kinko's which has much longer hours than a post office. Go to www.fedex.com
and find out which service will be cheaper. Be sure to accurately measure the box dimensions as you'll take a big hit at the post office if they add up to over a certain limit.
