Personally, I have reached a point in my skiing where I achieved absolute perfection. There is no more room to improve. It's a little sad, but It's also very satisfying.
I got this from Katie Fry. I don't know where she read it. But it sure sums it up for me.
"Skiing is a sport of perfection, which is why it's so deeply personal,
unique to each of us. And there are only two constant truths. First, we
are rarely as good as we think we are, and second, we will never be as
good as we know we should be. The better we get, the more we realize how
elusive true perfection really is. That's what keeps us skiing, that
part of why we keep going back to the snow."
