Anyone have a pair of these new boots? I'm a dedicated Lange guy (Ironic since my last name is "Lange"). I haven't been able to find a better fit anywhere. I have been riding in the WC 120s and its time for a new boot. I'm looking to move to a more free-ride specific boot but don't want to lose the precision fit. I checked these out at the store in Boulder and they seemed like very high quality.
They have some interesting extra cushioning embedded in the tongue of the liner which is supposed to reduce any residual shin bang. Other than that, they're pretty typical Lange...not a ton of bells and whistles, which is what I like. They do have some rubber on the bottom of the boot to make the boot less slippery when walking or hiking...which is not critical but a nice touch. The guy working the shop indicated that they are pretty burly (130 flex) but, as with other Lange offerings, you can pull 1 or 2 rivets in the back of the boot to soften the flex.
Tempted to pull trigger on these but they're pretty pricey...close to $700. May try to get through the season and wait for the typical late/off season discount.
