Tucson is great mountain biking and road riding in winter, mostly 60-75 degree days. We have a 8 day riding event with different mountain bike trails around the city daily. You can check out TucsonMTB as the holiday gets closer. If you wish to escape the cold and avoid the resorts when busy, Christmas vacation.
I usually lead a Reddington Pass ride on the Arizona Trail.
Many other rides should include the AZ Trail near Colossal Cave, Fantasy Island, 50 Year Trail, 24 Hour Race Course, Gates Pass, Sweetwater Trails and tough Milagrosa. Prepare with Slime tubes or Stans. Always lots of fun.
