Anyone seen this years Warren Miller Movie, worth driving one way for 90 minutes? Always enjoyed Warrens narration and he is not doing this one.

I dont think I would drive 90min for any movie unless it was a A-list star studded gala premier, but to each his own.

I saw it Friday night. By and large pretty good, the Iceland segment ran long I thought. Would I watch it again, sure.. Would I drive 90 miles to see it, no...

What time were you there? I thought the 6:30 show was at 7:00...

All in all, not bad. The Rahlves segment was probably the best - I still can't believe he was able to save that would-be crash...

VERY HOT CHICK hosting it. All was good until they gave the mic to the Corona girl - GOD!!! THAT VOICE!!! ARRRRGHHH!!! Dogs were howling for miles!!

It was a pretty decent film. I normally prefer the big lines, cliffs and face shots over the rails and pipe, but I have to say some of the big air shots were pretty impressive.

I especially liked the Alaska and Utah segments, as well as Crested Butte with Wendy, Lynsey, Rachael, and Greta - they rock!! The tribute to Billy Poole was fitting. The Iceland segment was cool, but as gregmerz said - it ran a bit long.

Oh, and I drove 30 minutes to see it in Salt Lake - but that was part of a Friday night out with my family.

I think that I'll go see it... Here in Kelowna you get a free lift ticket for both Revelstoke and Whistler with every movie ticket...

Thats the main reason I go, for the swag! I've already made arrangements to attend one next month.

My wife is hosting our local showing Nov 7 put on by our local ski club. I'll post a review after we see it (but no spoilers). WM told us to test the DVD before show night so I might be obligated to see it sooner :-)

Grand prize giveaway is Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2nd prize is a trip to Steamboat including airfare, 3rd prize is his/her Spyder jackets.

If anybody in the Central PA area wants to go let me know and I'll hook you up with some tickets...only 5 bucks each, 7 bucks at the door.

Hey Rich we have the tickets. It's in SOUTH Central PA near Harrisburg BTW so about a 2.5 hour or so drive for you each way.

Here is your local showing http://www.chestnutmtnproductions.co...miller_nyc.htm

At least they don't do the annual "Nissan Aerial Series" crap any more.
