True answer: It's a gimmick.
No different than K2 putting an electronic device in the skis to dampen vibration (with a light!), Head "Intellifibers" and "Liquidmetal", Volkl "Double Edge grip", and Elan Waveflex.
There are a million examples.... those few just came to mind.
#1 Liquidmetal is not a Head product and has absolute scientific proven efficacy
#2 Have you skied on Head skis with Intelligence Technology? If not, you would have a different opinion of this technology! if you have then you know what I am saying is true. When going from soft to hard snow there is no doubt that the ski firms up torsionally.
