Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum, so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Alex and I like to ski.

I'm in the northeast (NY) and frequently ski Killington and Mt. Snow. I've skied for a while, but haven't gotten regular and aggressive until I met wife three years ago. She used to race for Penn State and can kick my ass on the snow. I'm a cyclist, as a hobby and in the biz, so luckily I can blow her away on a bike and keep some dignity.

Thanks for reading!

P.S.
After spending the last 2 years demo'ing skis I've decided on Nordica Mach 3 Power. If anyone has a set in a 170cm, let me know.

Welcome....

This is a great place to get truly addicted to skiing...

Be happy that your wife loves to ski...

As a cyclist thats in the biz, you know about the equipment bug that can bite you...

Be prepared to get bitten by the equipment bug for skiing...

Black Diamond Bunny,
You will have to join in on the fun, when the Denver locals meet on the hill. Nothing better then skiing with 20 or more from Epic.
Stay tuned for details on the next meeting place!

No kidding! Luckily, I'm not that knowledgeable on equipment yet. Plus I'm hoping that I'll be able to turn some of my extra bike stuff into ski stuff through trades.

Currently, I'm trying to get my hands on some Nordica Mach 3's and I'd be willing to trade my Fat Chance for them.

Hi everyone! I'm a noob here too. I'm absolutely obsessed with skiing.

Speaking of wifes, I'm going on the second year of teaching my wife to ski. She's comming along well, I'm hoping I can take her on some more challenging terrain this season.

Good 'ol Tussey Mountain, eh? That's actually a great little race hill. Some fine racers have come out of that program.

i like to ski too.

so much that i considered this ski season in this economy and decided i could either have 1 ski trip(usually 2 or 3 annually) and football season tickets or 2 ski trips; football tickets are long gone !
