When was that photo taken? Seems to be some old long straight skis on the racks.
That snap was taken five years ago, I guess at a time when skiers were sitting on the fence with their straight skis pondering over the much publicised revolutionary parabolic skis.
I was one of them.
On that particular stay I was grounded for a few days with a severe groin strain after wiping out big time on a snowmobile in Park City's powder-filled Wilderness On that day i dragged myself into my hotel and reported it at the desk. 10 minutes later, five strapping firemen with huge red helmets burst into my hotel room. They ignored my pleas that there was no fire and that all I had was a groin strain. They insisted that they support me out of the hotel where they then hailed a ski bus and asked the driver to drop me off at the medical centre. Wow! What service..
