Thinking about it Tea Cup seems like a very good place to maximize fresh lines on a powder day. This lift gives you access to alot of good stuff. My experience is you have about a 2 hr. window , maybe less before the mountain is pretty much tracked out . Having said that in the spring I've skied fresh snow on the front side down Riva Ridge at 11 AM. I was amazed .
If you know where to go Vail doesn't get tracked out during a whole day much less 2 hours. You just have to search around through the trees and whatnot as all the obvious open bowl shots do get tracked out fast. That being said the Beav is usually a better choice on a powder day imho, but don't tell anybody
