tweener ski for female youth

G'day.
I've got the family kitted out for our next ski trip (Japan)
except for my daughter.
She has outgrown her Head mojo 65 kid skis and I'm keeping an eye out for something cheap on ebay (probably ex-rental).
She is approx. 165cms tall and weighs 60kgs. Skis well with nice technique yet not overly aggressive. She generally skis on the more advanced resort runs i.e blacks & double blacks when she is with me although she prefers the groomers. Lets say 50/50.

Was wondering if a pair of Head Monster im70's at 163cm might be too long?

anybody have any thoughts or opinions?
Cheers

bit big, assuming that she is growing, and thin/tall for compaired to an adult.
155cm ish

I tend to like skis on the long side, and even I think that a 163 is a bit long for this growing girl.
I'd go for something in the high 140's to the mid 150's depending on the ski you find.

Something like this is a good example, as it will serve the improving skier while offering performance.

Whiteroom let me try the Head Wild Thang last winter which is also a good ski in this category.

It is a bit long and quite a bit too stiff for someone coming off of Jr skis.

the head every thang (last years every one) is a REALLY light, really turny (10.something m radius in 149 iirc) snappy ski. its based off the xenon aircoat technology, so its really light and snappy. itll work for her for years too..

id say 156

thanks All. My feeling was around 150-155 as well. I'm not keen on getting chick skis as I like to hand down to her younger brother. I'll keep looking on ebay and post a thread again if I see something as I appreciate your opinions.

Take a look at the rossi scratch pro (wood core)twin tip, got some for my daughter last year, I think they are a 148 but if I remember they also had it in a 153. She jumped from a 129 atomic C4 to the rossi 148 with no problem. They could easily be handed down to a boy.
