FOR SALE: Blizzard Titan Cronus Freeride Skis w/ IQ 4.12 Binding size 178cm

I am selling a like BRAND NEW pair of 2008 Blizzard Titan Cronus skis, length 178cm (STICKERS STILL ON SKIS!). These boards are both fat and phat, like strapping rockets to your feet. They have only been skied twice and are basically brand new. They come with the IQ 4.12 TC binding.

I am selling them because I made the jump to tele skiing this year, they really are an awesome pair of skis, I just won't use them as much as expected and want someone else to have some fun.

Note: The top sheet on the left tip was nicked slightly from crossing under the other ski's edge but it is minor cosmetic and won't affect performance. The only reason I mention it is to be honest about the condition of the skis. The bases are in terrific shape.

These retail for over $1,000 and I am selling for $750 + shipping. I will consider serious offers.

Manufacturer's details:

Characteristics: The Titan Cronus IQ is designed to provide versatility from phat off -piste terrain to the groomed slopes. The 88mm waist and the new IQ Sandwich Compound Sidewall Carbon construction reveals unbelievable opportunities to this member of the Titan family

User: Performance oriented Freerideers and aggressive Big Mountain skiers

Terrain: All mountain 40% on trail / 60% off

Speed: High Speed

Side Cut: 125 / 88 / 111 180cm Radius 19m

Construction: IQ Sandwich Compound Sidewall, Carbon, Woodcore

Binding: IQ 4.12 TC

not mention the price for new ones on other sites... you may want to google them and re-adjust your price.

Definitely too expensive with a nicked topsheet.

Right now the skis are worth what someone is willing to write a check for them. He said he will consider "serious offers", think the price is high? So make offer .

constructive criticism, not complaining.

Looks like a good ski though.

Anyone else notice that this is a 1 post supporter selling something?

Not saying it is, but if this is a scam, they stand to make $730 after paying to become a supporter...

Anyway, is someone going to pay $750 for a pair of used skis? I mean, I know the dollar's low and all...

lemme see if I can offer the proverbial olive branch.

you're new and can't be expected to know the history that gets folks somewhat excited, but just over a year ago someone scammed some of our members as well as a few over on TGR out of some pretty sunstantial dollars when they were all added up.

as a result, Epic instituted a policy that only supporters could offer any items for sale and I think there was a minimum member time frame ---but I'm hazy on that.

anyway, folks remember that event and take a dim view of 'one post wonders' listing something for sale here.

knowing the background, would you still say 'edgy"??

i'd say that Phil and company have our backs!

When this thread was posted, the 30-day rule had not been met, which was my "issue". Now it is well past 30-days, but the OP still has a really low post count...
