Zacman, good thread!
Maddog1959, Pink Floyd on a powder day - that's fantastic!
You may call me weird if you want to, but I like Beethoven's 9th on a snowstorm day, or in VW-sized moguls. Gives me some extra courage. On good days, my favorite tune is Figaro's aria from "The Barber of Seville". Music from "La Traviata" is great too. So is Bizet's "Carmen".
Tried Mozart, Bach - no. Tschaikovski's balet music - be that Nutcracker, or Swan Lake, or Sleeping Beauty - excellent for rhythm, but not nearly as emotional as the first four or Pink Floyd. Well, Swan Lake is getting really close.
I don't actually listen to all that music while skiing: too dangerous; it just pops up in my head and stays there.
