stiff boot: how to soften?

Thread Starter
I have a Rossi Race 1 boot. I'd like to have the flex softened a bit. Any ideas on where the shell can be ground, trimmed or cut to achieve softer forward flex without destroying the boot?
Thanks y'all.

Yes, trim the back, but don't do it yourself. Take it to your ski/boot shop. They'll do it for you....and do it right. The charge should be minimal. When you see what they do, you can try it yourself the next time.
