I can commiserate, back in the .com crash I lost $85k, then less than a year later $25k in my own biz that didn't quite make it due to the idiots that I was relying on to make my products......that still enrages me....I have a garage full of incomplete products waiting for the day I figure out what to do with it. A 1-2 punch....

Haven't dabbled in the market since then.

Speak to Mr Paulson, he has a slush fund to buy up worthless assets. Another $40k should be well below the radar

I'm so sad, this was the year we were gonna get together and ski.

Buck up, Little Buckaroo. Put your cash in a safe deposit box. At least you'll know where it is and what amount you have. Trust it to Others and they'll play with it till they're done and leave you holding the ball.

Im investing in sand...I figure with the economy as bad as it is and no end in sight people are going to take up drinking and there will be a shortage of glass to make the bottles and glasses to supply this insane demand.

I'm gonna stand them all up, put a room over them, refinance it with a home equity loan and ask the taxpayers for $700B. Ya think it'll work?
