I filmed these three gentlemen a few years ago.
John Clendenin Ski Pro, Champion free style skier from the seventies, who runs Ski with the Champs ski camps.
Stefan Kaelin Swiss ski champion of the sixties who won world cup races and owned Stefan Kaelin Sports stores in Aspen and California.
Lito Tejada-Flores Famous for his Breakthrough on Skis Books,Movies and Ski Camps.
Stefan had never been on a ski deck. John asked if he would like to ski on his deck. While on the deck Lito walked in. It was a special night. Enjoy the movie.

Cool. J.C. is still as smooth as I remember. I used to teach on a ski deck about 20 years ago that was about five times the size of that one and could be cranked up to GS speeds. Now that was fun. It was a fantastic tool for getting students up to speed quickly, before they had their first day on snow.

Would it be very expensive to buy a ski deck like that?

Great film.
How old is this video? Are ski decks still around?
Never seen one here in the NorthEast.

John now has three or four decks going at his business at the Aspen Club in Aspen. I believe he had five at one time and the Aspen ski company used one at Buttermilk. I don't know of any here in the east. I enjoyed making this film and knew it would be enjoyed by skiers. The movie was taken ten years ago this december.

I'm getting a lot of joy by having you people see this film. The movie was taken 10 years ago this december. It is actually over an hour long, with Stefan on the deck.

In the longer film, does Lito ever get on it?

Well, this is in the East, not the East you're asking for, though...
