Since we've already moved on to the next picture, mine was Spaulding Bowl at Copper.

Time for some thread CPR. Let's kick start this with a nice easy one:

Yep, just off the High Traverse. Is it sad that I knew my post was already answered before the page loaded because I saw your user name was the one to comment?

Here's another one:

Is that supposed to be an actual trail? You know, for skiing on?

It is an actual trail for skiing on. It's a flat traverse across the middle of the trail. Once someone gets it I'll show a picture I have of the whole trail (it has the trail sign front and center though so I don't want to give it away).

Btw, all three on map summit glades are this pic. Lost Boys, Go Green and Global Warming.

Is this at the Canyons... don't know the name of the trails, but skiers left of 9990 lift, traverse goes to some Pine-something chutes?

CORRECT - 4th of July 2011 - Horstman Glacier

Excellent! They hold camps and clinics up there every summer, correct?

Yes  - the skiing was good but I felt out of place since about 99% of the crowd was around 17 years old, plus the camps take up most of the skiable terrain. Also the public is allowed on the hill later than the kids in camps. By the time you take 2 lifts, the bus, and then another lift it's about noon and the snow needs to freeze up again. Still glad I did it though!

Nope - another clue (this one pretty much gives it away):

Vail?

Haven't been there for 30 years but that's how I picture it.

Yes

correct - Vail -Bwana down into Lionshead

Retro photos from my youth in the same area of Vail.

I hadn't been there before until last year, and my reaction was that Vail could have been so cool.  Underrated as a mountain because of the Disneyland BS.  It seems even larger in total acreage than it is.

Okay here is a new one (I think).  I will make it a bit more challenging in that the picture was taken during the off season.

I will also add that there is more than one named run in this photo, so I think it will be acceptable to just name the "zone" & the ski area.

Milky Way Bowl on Monument Peak, Heavenly.

(Only because I've hiked around that area in the summer scouting out the route from Fultone gate to the bottom of Kingsbury Grade)
