big feet wide feet = fewer choices
Hi from Copper Mtn Co. I have one recomadation STROLZ Boots from Austria
There are a few dealers here in the USA My friends I ski with from Germany....ski in them and though they dont have larger feet !they are awesome boots for a wider and larger then 12 or 12.5 size feet
If your feet are not growing any more then this might be the only choice for you!
I have worked in the ski indutry as a tech and sales rep for over 35 + years and I never recomend a specific boot to anybody ! Period! They should try non a boot that matches there foot shape
that is if they have avg size feet ! In your case STROLZ Boots are they way to go! The boot is the most important part of the package....And many if not all boot makers might go 12 1/2 in size they dont make eee width,,,,,and a shop would have to heat and widen a boot most likley beyond the safe point!
Strolz makes the boot parts lower and upper cuffs seperate !
So after you are measured...they assembly the parts and custom fit a liner for a great fit and your on your way....
there not cheap $$$
...but you can ski them for many many years and get replacement parts as things wear out ! I have friends that have had there Strozl for over 10 years and they ski about 100 days a season
you cant do that with any other boot company! Plus they make boots for any style of skier you are ! Look them up on line I know they have a east coast dealer and a few out west also!
good hunting remember a bargin is only as good as the fit and service!
And about 80% of all skiers are in the wrong size and end up with very sore feet and shins and black toenails because there not the correct boot and size!
Good Luck !
