The moment I saw the first image of Sarah Palin, I knew we'd be seeing Tina Fey:

Here's the hilarious 'Non-Partisan Message from Sarah & Hillary': SNL video link.

Tom Shales of the Washington Post (need to free register to see) reviewed this today. It had some interesting background on how the sketch came about. Instant SNL classic!

OK, well in the interest of fairness I checked on snopes.com and both of the photos I posted (high heels and leather skirt, and bikini and gun) turn out to be fake, photoshop manipulations.

I'll wager a hundred bucks right now that you have NEVER considered any other VP to be as big of an influence to your vote as Palin... but...

it doesn't stop there...

Your wager has to acknowledge that you have never considered any ticket "a heartbeat away from the most poweful person in the world."

Nobody has ever voted for the "heartbeat-away-from-President VP."

That argument is absolute shite.

I beg to differ. McCain, not only would be the oldest President ever, but he has had multiple Melanoma episodes. His health is a huge consideration.

The order of Presidential Succession in this country is very clear. http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0101032.html

Due to the political bend this is taking, we are closing this thread. If you want to continue the discussions, please do so in the lounge.

BTW, I love the skit.
