I am 1" shorter and the same weight. Have 151cm Head WC RS. They can handle about everything, speed it's a bad thing. Boy howdy you are one tired puppy at the bottom of the hill.

I raced on a 155 Rossi WC 9S last year(Got the ski el'cheapo). Sucked but I'm 6'3" 220. I sold it to a buddy who is like 6' 170 and he fly's on 155cm ski's

Go longer. While you wouldn't overpower a race stock 155, you'll benefit greatly from a technique standpoint having a longer ski. At that length and your size, you'll have a hard time staying centered over the ski. A 160 or 165 would give you much better fore-aft stability, so you can make the most out of strong technique.

Same height, I use 165 SL, supposedly the correct size for our height....they still feel small.

I've skied 150, 155 and 160 race stock slalom skis over the last few years, all bought second hand, so I didn't have any choice on length. I'm about 175 cm and 75 kilos (roughly 5' 10" and 165 pounds I'd guess). I thought even the 150's were worthwhile, and they held like hell on ice. You're not gonna make a lot of GS turns or anything with a ski like that, but it does the job.

I am 181cm tall and brought some Volkl P60 Race slaloms and despite my height they were much more secure on ice than my
longer GS skis. They are a bit of hard work on crud though. One
interesting thing I found out after buying them was for the first
time ever I was able to carve a turn at slow speed on a gentle
slope which I found impossible on my longer GS skis.

And how great are these little guys in icy bumps? Just don't get back 'cause, well, there is no back...

I'm 5'10" 145lbs and skied some volkl p60s in 150 with no problems at all but then I am pretty light! I tried the same ski in 160 and it felt better to ski but not hugly different.

I'm gonna be on a 160 slalom ski this season. So where's that put me?

My favorites are 155 Stockli SL's and I got a bit of crap for being on a womans ski.

They were mens legal FIS when I got them .... I was about 170 pounds at the time.

The numbers boxskier is using are the USSA & FIS numbers ... you don't need to be legal, you need to have fun on them.
