The rock skiing dude isn't me...I'm not that fly.
My little local hill has a truly annoying "grooming policy". It's actually posted in writing in several places. It states that if there is more than 4" of fresh snow they groom the entire mountain!!! Apparently that's too deep.
Would like conditions like what Mr Crab posted, plus trees.
The first meant a lot to me because I had chickened out at the entrance two years ago, so doing it (and finding it easy) made me feel like I had improved my skiing. Its also a nice setting, and we had perfect corn snow.
The second was perfect powder, and included something missing in the first: my wife. This run was one she had been afraid of two years ago and this year she absolutely killed it, and was ecstatic about it.
So my perfect run would be something like the first, with my wife, in powder. I'd also add the missing element from the two runs above: other friends. And someone would be feeling like they had just made a big leap in ability.
