My boss at Examiner.com wants to feature a "best of" page on September 30th. Since I have two different pages, I truly have my work cut out for me!

For My Colorado Mountain Fitness Page

I need your nominations for:

The best Colorado hiking trails
The best Colorado mountain biking trails
The best snowshoeing and cross country ski areas

The Skiing Page
is National, so I need:

The best ski resort in your area
The best ski pass deals
The best on mountain restaurant
The best ski school in your area
The best ski instructor for Beginners
The best ski instructor for intermediates
The best ski instructor for experts
The best boot guys
The best ski pass deals
The best ski lodging

Deadline is 9/30, but I need this ASAP! If you submit, please tell me why you think it's the best!

Thanks!

I need your nominations for:

The best Colorado hiking trails
The best Colorado mountain biking trails - White Ranch near Golden
The best snowshoeing and cross country ski areas -
Snowshoeing = Brainard Lake around near Ward, CO; Xskiing=Eldora

The Skiing Page
is National, so I need:

The best ski resort in your area - why Winter Park of course! But I really like Loveland and Snowmass. Awesome terrain
The best ski pass deals - my employee pass=free
The best on mountain restaurant
The best ski school in your area = Winter Park of course but I really have to thank the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen- they got me going again after I totalled my knee
The best ski instructor for Beginners (I think this discriminates against us snowboard instructors )
The best ski instructor for intermediates
The best ski instructor for experts - Bruce Leiman (Loveland), Tammi Sjoden, Chris Koch, Roy Koch, Bob Barnes, Rusty Guy (Winter Park)
The best boot guys - Hands down, Larry Houchen of Larry's Boot Fiting in Boulder,CO - he managed to get ski boots to fit my feet
The best ski pass deals - Loveland season pass - cheap & awesome terain
The best ski lodging = St. Moritz Lodge in Aspen,CO

Thanks![/quote]

Some pretty good mid-Atlantic data on some of your questions here:

Might want to do a courtesy check with website editor for sharing info though.
BTW, I'm a daily reader and enjoy the Wash DC version of Examiner paper.

Would you like a snowboard page? Send me a PM! But keep in mind, I still need you on my winter sports writing team at Helium. Otherwise, I'm going to have all of these non-skiers and riders writing about resorts they've never visited!

I just submitted a rather in-depth review of Winter Park this week.

I have some other titles in progress too. Some of those articles written by the non-skier and riders are filled with misinformation. I'll be submitting some articles of my own for those titles. Almost like shooting fish in a barrel.

I will be straying over to the beer channel today and posting.
