Look for “Mogul”, The Epic ski banner from the LGC events. I’ll post a picture of it later.
There is a variety of lodging in the general area. As of this writing there are deals at the Snow King Resort Lodge and Condos. The Antlers / 49er / Elk Country / CowboyVillage all have discounts in place. There is a lot of information about lodging here;
http://www.jacksonholechamber.com/lo...els-lodges.phpthough the pricing couldbe a bit better at this site.
*I foundwww.Jacksonholewy.comto be an easy to use site with plenty ofoptions and good prices.
*Worth a look are Expedia (www.expedia.com) and Travelocity (www.travelocity.com)
*Most of the discounts for booking early end by 10/15/08, so don’t wait too long if you know you are attending.
The best ticket options I have found so far is to book tickets as part of your lodging package. This can be tough to do at some of the sites. If you are using www.jacksonwy.com click on “activities” as well as lodging and book your tickets there.
The Jackson Hole Ski Area web site also has a multi-day ticket option. It is located in their “online store”. There has been a slight glitch in their system from time to time, just keep trying. There is a discount on tickets here but they do cost about $10 more a day than if you purchased with your lodging.
OF COURSE…….Avoid the ticket windows on a daily basis.
If any of you locals know of an establishment in town that may sell discounted tickets, like shops or grocery stores, please post it.
For those of you planning on making it to Snow King, you can get a ½ price ticket there ($22 /full day) if you are staying right at the mountain, ’till Oct 15 or when the deal sells out. The Snow King Resorts prices on lodging are some of the best to be had the week we are there. Well worth a look. There is also night skiing at Snow King….and it’s CHEAP !
Hope this helps. I’m sure more folks will jump in on the thread and post other options and hints.
Have a great early season and I’ll see you all in Jackson Hole in February.
