Looking for some new pants

Thread Starter
I am looking for some new pants for the upcoming season. I am currently using insulated Spyder Tarantula pants, but they have seen much better days (mostly held together with duct tape).

Let me know what you guys use and how you like them.

Patagonia Primo pants. I've had them for 3 seasons now (about 150 days); they look like they're fresh-out-of-the-wrapper. Absolutely bomber.

Check out REI Shuksan

Check out the new REI Shuksan pants, seem tobe bomber and are made with EVent, which is more breathable than GoreTex. Also, check your PM.

They fit like a glove.

The reason I asked, is because I have not owned Cloudveil stuff, and wonder if its true to fit/size.
Normally I wear a 6 but get an 8 or 10 in Isis.

Do men's ski clothing run the same erratic sizing?

I've had some Columbia Titanium pants for a few years now and have yet to find anything to complain about- awesome pants! Try Ebay, there's tons of stuff on there- but alot of the Spyder stuff I suspect may be fake.

These run the most true to size out of the three pair that I have bought this year (had to return the other two because they didn't fit (Eidler L was too small, Spyder XL was huge) These are a L that fit like a L.

Last season I got some good deals on Sessions gear and so far I've been impressed, waterproof enough to ski in east coast rain, nice comfy fleece on the inside of the pants and lots of pocket space. Seems pretty durable too.

Only complaint is the vents are on the inside which for sac breathing purposes does make sense, it does add a weird stiff part to the pant. I really wish I could've found a better way to explain that.

Even though I bought the pants at a retailer, I know of a certain family of sites that often have Sessions gear mad cheap, I really don't think I need to shill them yet again, we all know.

Arc'Teryx Theta SK bib shell and layer away.
Look on SAC (now may Tramdock) for a sale or what for a good coupon.
