I agree Okemo is not a Bumpers heaven, Sel's is still a fun bump run that serious bumpers can excel and the moderate ones can still get down and have fun. I wouldn't completely dismiss it. Plus Max Capacity is there.

Sugarbush would honestly be your best bet for NE. There's a push for even more bumps this year, especially at Mt. Ellen.

I'd say you'll see bumps on:

Mt. Ellen
Black Diamond
FIS
Exterminator
Elbow (half)
Bravo
Encore
Cliffs
Hammerhead
Tumbler
Lower FIS
Semi-Tough
Possibly Which Way or Lookin' Good
Lincoln Peak
Moonshine
Twist
Mall
Stein's
Lower Birdland
Spillsville
Ripcord
Paradise
Domino
Castlerock Run
Middle Earth
Morning Star

From what I've witnessed, Stowe doesn't attract much of a bump skiing crowd, and so you'll have fewer quality bump options. MRG is certainly a viable option, but Bush and MRG are side by side. Why not hit both?

I've skied a lot of places in NE, and in CO. Sugarbush and Mary Jane have the best bumps I've skied.

PM for more info.

And if you're still not convinced, here's a little Bush bump stoke:

Actually forgot about Sugarbush. Great pics. If we did this over a weekend, we have MRG there too. Hmmm.

One of these days I'll have to get to Sugarbush on a day when they have good conditions. Each time I've been there, the bump runs have resembled cubes on a tilted hockey rink. i.e., I like my bumps nice and round, which the Bush bumps most certainly weren't! I want to like the place, but so far the conditions haven't been good.

It's like everywhere in New England, I imagine -- hit it when it's good and you'll be in heaven, hit it when it's bad and you won't be able to leave fast enough!

Hmmm, sounds good to me.

If I had my way... Bumphest would move back down to Kmart, Just because it is at the limit of what I can do in a day-trip. I do like Okemo, but other than Sel's there ain't a lot of bumpers.

I hope to make it this year - missed skiing with you bears last season.

Now that could cause some problems at home. My wife stoppped skiing about 7 years ago; she would kill me if I took my son to CO for Mothers day. My son would kill me if I went skiing in CO without him! Hey, at least I would die happy

Honestly, I'm OK on a couch or floor with pillows and blanket if others also need a crash location Sunday night. Odds are I can take Monday off and split early, but if I HAVE to work Monday morning I can do it anywhere that has an internet connection and Verizon cell coverage
cell coverage in VT....

No that it should sway anyone but Okemo has excellent Verizon coverage... just sayin'.
