Mogul Pants

Thread Starter
Where can I find mogul pants? I can not find any sites that have them. These are the mogul specific pants with the different color on the knees. They look baggy and comfortable. Anybody know where to the them?

Ah, yes, it really helps in a mogul comp if the judges can focus on you knees. I used to wear white knee pads over black or blue Mother Karens. Stich some velcro tabs or just stich them right to your pants if you want a permenant solution. Some folks found/wore stretch pants, Roffe or White Stag, other brands that did have white or red on the knees, but most folks I knew just added simple knee pads.

I would love to find an old Mother Karens suite. I had the Dk Blue/Lt. Blue pullover/pants combo back in 81ish. . We are looking for a pair of the blue/red Roffe pants to go with a Blue/red CB pullover for someones retro day outfit. KEep an eye out for a pair, please.

Those were the days.

They are my husband's, from high school, so big numbers are okay. They might be a 34, but no bigger. I measured 16.5 inches across the waistband. (Sorry for the image quality, it's from my phone.)

And yes, that is a lift ticket still attached; A-Basin. And he had the CB jacket to go with it, but it was stolen (I'm guessing lost, but he claims stolen).

I don't think so. Just the little thin crisscrossed pads where the red piping is. Cosmetic.

Maybe I should start a rental program ...

We have the matching Obermeyer sweater, too:

Puck it -- It's been awhile since I've been involved with the mogul scene, but the companies that made mogul specific pants when I was competeting about 7 - 8 years ago were BFA (out of business), Fate Clothing (still around) SMS (still around), and Predator Wear).

Unfortunately for you, after looking at Fate's and SMS's websites...they don't seem to make mogul specific pants anymore. And it seems like Predator is now out of business as well as their website hasn't been updated since '06-'-07. They did have a something called the Wolverine Pant, but I'm not sure it's still available: http://www.predatorwear.com/companys...i ne=6&sizeid=

I know for awhile Phenix was a supplier for the US team, so you might want to research them as well.

Sorry...I guess this wasn't too much help afterall...

The bumpers on Mogul Skiing.net are always looking for mogul pants since SMS and Fate quit making them. Pred is dead, like Ty said. Supposedly, Fate makes bump pants on alternate years, but I can't verify.

Karbon supplies pants for the Australian mogul team...I think you can find some used USA and AUS pants from Phenix and Karbon, respectively, on ebay or maybe craigslist. Good luck!
