I picked the Vikings, and NO it wasn't because they wear purple.

Its because I like how they say armadillo, in Minusooooooda!
I thought it was because you wanted to be a loser too.

I would have picked Minnesota here too, but I am glad for Aaron Rodgers, a bit of a monkey off his back.

Maybe we should start an EpicLosers group to see if a second chance can redeem any of us, losers.

FWIW, it was a game worth watching.

FWIW (zero most liekly) I can still make picks for the other weeks. I'm guessing that correct answers will score zero points.
But, the way my week one pick went I'll probably not pick ANY correct

The losers are those still worrying about football games, while we spend all of our free time thinking about the upcoming ski season.

I like the way you think.
Come to think of it, the reason I've never watched a lot of football is because I'm usually skiing my hill that is 40 minutes away from my door, while folks like Phil are parked in the Man Room watching football because his ski hill is 6 hrs drive.

Tampa Bay?

Messy schedule coming up . Lots of rising teams playing traditional powerhouses with weaknesses. Too many places to slip up this week .

Look at teh next couple of weeks...scary stuff. FWIW, most Suicide Pools don't make it much past week 8.

Done. East coast bias ,so far.

Cuz you would be doubly stupid to pick either. That's a tossup in my book .I wonder what the line is for that game.
edit... Houston favored by 4.5 today After looking at the betting line there are many nearly even picks this week and Houston isn't one of them. We'll see.

I like Tampa Bay over Atlanta. If nothing else, TB lost last week and Bucks over Dirty Birds seems like a safe bet.
I'm saving the Giants for a later week. That is certainly a weak match for last year's super bowl team. It falls under sure thing but makes picks later in the season more limited. OTOH, you have to get to later in the season first.
I had to take the Gants because I can find too many reasons to go either way in most of the included picks. The Giants were the only clear pick but even they are on the road to the far coast and that's a big hurdle for coastal teams.

Aren't DVR's wonderful!?! Now I can spend all day sunday sliding, avoid the tv's in the bar after, and then watch my game when I get home! I skied almost every sunday last winter AND watched every play in every Pats game!

I wussed this week and picked the giants.
I would've taken the cards, but I took them last week.
The rest were just a little too risky this week...
Oh well, I'm still in for week 3
That isn't being a wuss it's playing the game.

The Seahawks are falling apart . I have them picked next week and I'm sure to bail on them .

Looks like Pats over Fins is the safest bet next week.

So far, I don't know yet. Took the risk on TB over ATL. Leaves me with stronger teams later, if there is a later. No broadcast here of that game.
