Went to Ski Rex yesterday, and I am now the proud owner of:

2008 K2 Apache Recons
Marker 12.0 Bindings
Nordica SpeedMachine 8 Boots

And of course to go with it, I had to get a Colorado Pass.

Now we just need it to get cold up high and START THAT SNOWMAKING!

That's a dangerous discussion, Phil. Outfitting myself and my wife was not a cheap venture. Unless my wife is receptive to the ski gear vs. retirement savings discussion, I think the Recons will have to do for a while.

Pusherman - Curtis Mayfield

Go ahead and include the wife's gear in your quiver shot. Nobody will notice that your main pair says "LUV"!

But for a one ski quiver the Recon's a nice choice IMO

An excellent point, Phil. I might have to bring that up.

Just make sure there is either no sharp objects within arms reach or nothing she can throw at you. Oh and that "you are the man and she is just the woman"..that usually seals any discrepancy here.

I recommend you go to New Orleans and call her from there Tuesday to tell her. You'll be much safer there
