Agreed - not only are the Line graphics really nice, but they are completely different than that from any other brand. Would've loved to own the Prophet 100's as my new powder-oriented boards but I was between sizes.

IMO - Volkl had a great ski with the 06 Gotama (the all black one without the wood sidewalls). They've since been tweeking it to appeal to guys who want a cool looking powder ski for slaying groomers (stiffer, more sidecut) and guys who take their skis to raves (butt-ugly glow-in-the-dark graphics).

OK Jer, I'm throwing down the gauntlet! Of the currently available skis, what would you consider to be an equal or better version of what the Gotama used to be (which I would call a powder-oriented big-mountain ski, not a powder-only ski)?

I think the 2009 Gotama graphics are killer. I'm a big fan of black with florescent color accents (green or pink particularly)... t-shirts, skis, whatever.

However I think the '09 Watea graphics are really nice and everyone seems to think they're hideous.

Hmm, Gotama = Buddhism = major religion of Japan = lesser religion of China. Tokyo street scene makes sense to me.

I am pretty sure Whiteroom's reference was relating to manufacturing.
