Binding recommendation for Watea 84

Thread Starter
Hi all...I will be using my new Watea 84s for 2 trips out West and soft/fresh snow days in the East this year. I'm 5"11, 200 lbs, level 8 skiier. This year's Watea 84 did well in latest magazine gear review guide with the Railflex binding...Should I put a Railflex binding on these? I have a pair of Salomon 912 that I can use as well. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Not being one to say "use the search function" i did it for you.

Here's a very good thread I started when I bought my Watea 84's with good advice all around.

Mr. G, read the reviews of the skis here, referencing ski rag reviews here is a pariah!

should have checked...

SMJazz/Finndog,

I usually search the site before buying/posting. This question was asked earlier this year-lots of good info on that thread...Thanks

G-man, the 84 is a great ski and the RF is the way to go. try in the +15 setting.

Hey no need to apologize. It was a lot easier for me to find that then it would have been for you, there's been tons of threads on those skis.

Finndog, glad you agree on the RF, after that thread I still wonder if I should mount flat bindings on the skis, but do want to play around with the fore/aft position.

and skier_j - what about me? what am I, chopped liver?

Oh btw Level 9 still has those bindings and add $30 for the wide brakes.
