RIP Chris Washburn

It's with a heavy heart that I tell you all my friend and all-around great guy Chris Washburn has died from injuries he sustained when sonofabitch piece of semi-human garbage Wilfredo Pabon stabbed him in the abdomen while he was trying to break up a fight. He was in the hospital for a long time, but finally succumed to his injuries and died on the 8th. I am a mixture of sad and outer-limits-seeing-stars-infuriated at this time, as I didn't find out about all this until it was too late for me to go to his wake or funeral, which is really bothering me right now. He was 24 and just about the nicest guy you could ever meet, and a hell of a mechanic. I'm kinda at a loss for words right now and not really looking for sympathy but I guess I just want to tell people how awesome he was and to watch out, as it can happen to anyone at any time. That and WILFREDO PABON IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE I WANT TO SET ON FIRE! I wish Massachusetts had the death penalty, I can't tell you how satisfying it would be to watch this bastard take his last breath. I know this isn't skiing related but I just need to let this crap out and my friends are messed up enough right now without my bitching. Thanks for reading and take care bears.

Deepest sympathies on your loss and I'm very sorry for the pain and rage you are feeling right now. The only thing that helps me in times likes this a belief in Karma. Your friend--good guy that you say he was--gets better things in this life and the next. His attacker...well....he'll probably be re-incarnated into a dung beatle when his time comes. I'm really am sorry and wish good vibes to you and his family. Take care of yourself.

Very sorry to hear and very sad story. Vent, yell, scream and get yourself back on track in due time but in case you were thinking of something stupid; don't. Think first and then a second time....

I feel your pain and you have my sympathy. I read about this over on TGR too. It's hard to make sense of it all. I had a good friend and co-worker get murdered about twenty years ago. She left behind a five year old son and a loving husband. Her only crime was to go to work. Yell, scream, and talk with friends. It's a senseless, stupid crime, and leaves behind many victims. Wishing you and his family good vibes.

My condolences buddy.

Awful. Seek out your friends and relatives if you can - you need each other right now, no reason to go it alone!

Hopefully that guy gets justice meted out swiftly.

I am sorry, but where do I know Chris from? The name is familiar, I just cannot place it.
