I use webshots wallpaper, which can change the picture throughout the day.
You can add any pictures to it. The ski pics from them are weak. Link up any great ski pics that would make good wallpaper.

If you're familiar with webshots have you come across paedde31 yet? He's got many, many ski photo albums posted there. Some terrific shots from around the US and abroad.

Some of my shots from the Whistler slackcountry.

Wow! I really like the angle of the shots where you can see the tip of the skis. You can really see the steepness in those shots - something I find hard to capture on pictures!

It always helps when the slope is knee knocking steep.

Some more pics, a couple more tips hanging over the void shots.

There is definitely a lack of 1680x1050 ski wallpaper. Some nice shots in this thread by shirk though.

I use webshots too, and use this one, just in its bigger version :

Clearly everybody likes to post up the nice photos they took with their point and shoot cameras but seriously, aside from one or two, where are the wallpaper photos that Zog requested?

Does everybody use their monitor on 200 x 300 vertical format here?

Come on! Wallpaper - the man asked for wallpaper!

I'll start: I Took this photo at Kicking Horse back in March. It's 1280 x 960.

Easily one of my Favorites....

There's a few other good ones on there, but IMO, this one takes the cake!

There's also bigger pics of the one above on the flickr site...

Thank you. There are some beautiful shots on here, but they fill up an 1/8 of my screen.

Now that it's mid November, the winter folks might be starting to arrive,(here.) Who has some good , large ski photo's, or what links to ski companys wallpaper photo's get you psyched to ski?
Check some of the ski mountain website. I know Wistler has some decent wallpaper resolution pics. They're not HUGE but larger than most posted here.

how about some of the winter only visitors here, any new wallpaper?

Look around and do some google image searches changing your wording (ski wallpaper, ski desktop, skiing wallpaper, freeskiing, etc). Make sure you narrow it down to large or extra large images as well so it will look better on your monitor. Also check resort websites as said, as well as manufacture websites (for example Fischer used to have some great wallpaper-sized pics up). Anyway they're definitely out there - I use them as my screensaver, and so far I have over 700 good wallpaper-sized ski pics. Good luck!
