I bought the Freeskier review guide while checking out the preseason sales this Labor Day Weekend. They only post a few line reviews of the top 10 from each category. (The rest just get a score) I was surprised to see the Dynastar XXL get such low marks from the Freeskier review folks. Ski mag gave it high marks. If you went off of what the Freeskier guys say are the top skis, you'd never consider the XXL ski. But every online review (including my own review) rave about this ski. It really comes down to demoing a ski that has the characterstics you are looking for in a ski.
