What's pathetic is you're attempt to compare two totally different sports and epically failing in the process.
Also, I don't care that you mooch rounds at Doral from your friends. Just like i'm sure you don't give a crap the Stadium Course at Sawgrass used to be my home course for 11 years.
Anywho, try to tell the hundreds of thousands of high school golfers that walking while carrying clubs is dumb. You obviously have never played competitive golf or you wouldn't be spouting off half the ignorant stuff you already have.
Have fun in Whistler and watch that snowpack. I hear it's crucially unstable right now. I'm actually jealous of you believe it or not.
I see obfuscation is apparently a speciality - bragging about racing around in 90+ degree, 100% humidity weather carrying your clubs making you a HE-man is dumb. Talking about a bunch of high schoolers (and their old man, btw) walking around a course is a different issue - or are there really "hundreds of thousands of high schoolers" doing this every summer in Orlando in some misguided attempt to prove their manhood along with you? I didn't think so, but please, don't let me interrupt your obfuscation and mis-direction.
Ask myself about a life? Well let's see - I'm (somewhat jet-lagged) in Copenhagen right now, after returning last Wednesday from 10 days vacation in SLC and Steamboat, then going on to Whistler this coming Friday for two weekends between meetings, then to CT to pick up the kids and take them to SLC for 5 days for their winter recess. And your next 30 day schedule is?
A life, yes, I have one thank you. Pretty active in fact - AND I can average a couple of posts a day! I guess when your idea of gnar is running around a golf course carrying clubs in Orlando in the summer, multiple posts probably seems pretty challenging
. I can handle it, thanks.
In fact, the Whistler snowpack sucks right now, as it did on my mid-December visit, but hopefully next weekend's visit, along with the ones in April and May will have better snow and\or less risk of slides, but let's see what happens.
Or maybe the trip with two other couples in March for a week in CO will turn out better. Of course, the one to SLC with buds the second week of April will hopefully be good too. Tell me again about my life there dude.
Golf is for after the ski season winds down in May, the whitewater calms, and the diving gets trashed by the summer tourons in the Keys. A GAME to play at your leasure. I REALLY don't care how I score - it's GOLF for gawd sakes. It's like worrying about how good your bocce or shuffleboard game is.
The majority of the tournaments I go to in my business are won by Fat Dave. He's close to a scratch golfer, and btw, he's fat (really pretty fat). Yup, you gotta be really gnar to play golf well.
"Come with you to Orlando" (Orlando? Disney and trailer parks
). Thanks anyway- it's just not my idea of life, but please carry on.
