Two years ago, I was rehabbing a miniscus problem and the leg specific training for that enabled the best skiing of my life. Last year, I did much less training and paid the price both in aerobic and muscle fitness. My goal for this year is to return to the level of 2 years ago.
I've been cycling 5x's per week for a month, but, my body tells me it's too soon to do more than low speed 45 min rides.
I also picked up a Total Gym for $20 at a yard sale. Using that mostly on upper body and core muscles to date.
Plan to rejoin a Gym in Sept to concentrate on leg strength.
