Sunny & Beautiful in the Sierra

Just the way it should be in September. Summer isn't officially over until Sunday and some folks are excited about snow :evil :We do need some precip to cut down on the dust on the trails but I'm not ready for winter I've still got some mountain biking and wake boarding to do. The colors do appear to be changing a bit early this year. Snow in September does you no good in December. Now November if its snowing, that's when I'll get excited

Indian Summer, no better time of year.

I noticed in yesterday's paper that Truckee's low temperature was 25 F. Colder than Anchorage or Fairbanks, or even Fargo.

The weather is right on schedule. With Fall approaching, the coldest city ought to be Truckee.
