Two years ago, Christmas time, commuting back from work on rail, evening.
There is this Brit family (mom, dad, 4 children and a babysitter), clearly disraught. It turned out they came from Uk, for a Xmas holyday in Livigno.
Arrived at the airport, entered the Stazione Centrale in Milan, hoppe to the first train they thought was meant to ferry them close to Livigno, and found themselves 150 km westward in TORINO
They had subsequently to come back to Milan and wait for the next train to their destination, which was TIRANO
. The poor souls were a bit confused by all the usual confusion which distinguish Italy...
I think they left home at 0400 am...and arrived in Livigno
at about midnight...
